Resources to Support People Living with Dementia at Home

These resources have been developed in conjunction with official HSE guidance on COVID-19.  Information for health professionals on COVID-19 and the COVID-19 vaccination programme can be found on the HSE library webpage and on Information for the general public is also available on


1. COVID-19: Providing Care to Community Dwelling People living with Dementia:This information is to support staff working in community services on issues that have or may arise in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak for people living with dementia and their family carers at home.


2. Weekly Activity Planner for People with Dementia, Families and Carers: This planner contains suggestions for a balanced plan of physical, cognitive and relaxing activities, to assist with creating new routines during Covid-19. 


3. A Collection of Online Resources for People with Dementia, Families and Carers: The aim of the resource hub is to provide relevant resources compiled into one document.  The information in this online resource hub is separated into three themes - Medical, Practical and Emotional - and includes helplines and links to other helpful organisations.


4. At Home Activities Booklet: This information booklet is to help support people with dementia, families and carers. It provides a selection of meaningful activities for people with dementia, families and carers to do at home. They support the person to remain engaged and active.
